American Awnings & Sunrooms is hiring dependable and motivated Seasonal Awning Installation Technicians to join our installation team through October 2026.
This hands-on position involves installing retractable awnings, stationary awnings, shade systems, and other outdoor living products at residential and commercial properties throughout Northern Michigan.
We are a family-owned company that values quality workmanship, dependable service, and a positive work environment. Experienced installers are encouraged to apply, but we are also willing to train reliable candidates with construction, carpentry, roofing, siding, or other relevant trade experience.
Responsibilities:
Compensation
Pay ranges from $20 to $75 per hour, depending on experience, skill level, productivity, leadership ability, and position.
Higher compensation may be available for experienced installers, crew leaders, and qualified subcontractors.
Seasonal Schedule
This is a seasonal position available immediately through October 2026. Work hours may vary based on project schedules, travel, weather conditions, and customer appointments.
Candidates should be available for full-time hours during the busy installation season. Some early mornings, extended workdays, or occasional weekends may be required.
